Pre-uprising Caelune took on a wide array of occupations, not sticking so much to one job or another. Especially in the scientific field Caelune had a much easier time than most would when it came to things like zoology, as travel in general didn’t require traveling machines, just flight training. Modern day, there are still a wide array of jobs, but a good chunk of Caelune specifically take on the jobs of farmers or messengers, as the technology ban made it so that communication over long distances became a lot more difficult, and couriers were a much needed substitute. Frankly, any job field that could be aided with flight yet wasn’t severely weakened by the various sweeping bans had a rise in employees in the past century.

			Private work-wise, certain Caelune may be lucky (or unlucky, depends on your perspective) enough to have been hired by a private company or individual as their own personal courier, someone to delivery more risky messages or contraband. If the information being sent gets out or the contraband ends up damaged or in the hands of someone other than the intended recipient, they know exactly who to point the finger at. High risk, but typically very high reward job.

One of the only types of technology not banned, but instead very heavily regulated was the engineering field, most specifically for travel; especially for those who either don’t have time to learn flight, who wish to travel distances unsafe to do without outside aid, or who simply want to show that they don’t need to fly to make those distances. Caelune space travel technology is advanced enough to be able to keep consistent contact with other spheres, but the airtight restrictions on who comes in and out of F’teros make easy, smooth communication with other races incredibly frustrating, if not nearly impossible. As development of this technology has been all but cut off since the last century, the Caelune still use ships and transportation infrastructure from, well, the last century, with most Caelune simply being taught how to run, maintain and recreate the same machinery as always.

It could simply be ''better''. The presence of the Church of Soterism is at times suffocating, and medicine could do a little better than to simply offset symptoms until illness returns at full force, and the wealth gap between the upper and lower classes could be a bit more fair, and education could be a little bit less soul crushing, and the presence of church law enforcement could be much less overbearing… but hey, at least they’re closer to god than those ''Sonyx'' losers, right?

The capital of F’teros is a lively city known as Steralia, mostly inhabited by either wealthy Caelune, or not-so-wealthy Caelune who simply make it work (either by barely scraping by or working for their more wealthy neighbors). This capital is slightly Southeast of the center of F’teros and is typically where the mayoral council meets either during annual meetings or during emergency meetings.

			Other than that, no written notable locations will be written down in this wiki for the sake of player creativity. If you have anything from a small town to a bustling city to a lively school, you have total creative freedom to make whatever you want out of it. Go nuts. The only stipulations are to please try and keep it on-theme with the rest of Caelune society and, not necessary but would help fit in, try to keep naming schemes Greek-inspired, as most names both for locations and characters within Caelune society are based off of Greek words. Caelune do not get along easy with other species, simply because within the last century their way of approaching other spheres has become so draining and hostile that it’s usually not worth it to try and get through to them. Pre-uprising, they were still annoying to deal with, but leagues more tolerable than how they are now, especially since the representatives sent to speak with species from other spheres are typically chosen by the Church of Soteria, meaning communications end up becoming more of proselytizing,

			Regarding Sonyx specifically, most Caelune see the Sonyx to be at best insignificant but still potential followers of the Church, and at worst godless heretics who reserve no respect within Caelune society. Attacks on Sonyx individuals or businesses are typically treated with much less respect than there should be and are at times outright ignored entirely.

Healthcare-wise, Caelune were second to none, as their affinity towards the natural world allowed them to explore the world of medicine through the resources provided around them, allowing them great feats in the fields of biology and chemistry. Nowadays, that "affinity towards the natural world" is more focused on farming and resource gathering in an effort to make sure the great famine never happens again, and healthcare has severely declined, leading to the spread of formerly extinct diseases and many Caelune either dying in childhood or growing up surrounded by illness, which affects their health later on in life. If you've seen Interstellar, imagine it a bit like that, except if food were in abundance.

Most of Caelune fashion is occupation-based, as the only people who can really afford to take the time off to indulge in full on fashion senses tend to be on the wealthier side. This does not mean nobody can indulge in ANY fashion, but it ''does'' mean that most Caelune's occupation heavily influences what they wear, such as wearing flight-ready clothes if they have a travel-based job or wearing something with easily discarded layers if they're going to be working on farms in the sun.

			Most notably, there is a mask system in Caelune society that is an indicator of status and power within Caelune society. There is technically no "official" masks for any authority positions, but most businessmen, celebrities and politicians do wear masks. The complexity of the mask is indicative of status with simple or no masks being the lowest of status, masks with simple designs like painted patterns or engravings are of moderate status and masks with intricate, complex designs that include sculpted on cosmetics are of incredibly high authority. Think the difference between a plain white mask versus a mask with antlers sculpted to stick out of the sides of them.

			This system works throughout all of Caelune society. A school club president may make their own complex mask out of cardboard and paper with drawn on swirls and glued on feathers sticking out the side, and a major businessman may commission their own custom-made mask to fit their face with porcelain animal ears and whiskers sticking out the side, and they would both be indicative of leadership roles and authority.

 The Caelune are a harpy-like species that inhabits the sphere of Stratos alongside the Sonyx on the continent of F'teros. Caelune all can possess a variety of bird-like features, but a constant among all Caelune are the feathers along their arms that allow them to catch Stratos’ wind currents and glide along long distances. Caelune architecture consist of both tall towers made for landing by air, as well as grounded structures, as not all Caelune are capable of nor enjoy gliding. Within the past century, the Caelune experienced an extreme religious uprising that uprooted the majority of their systems and rid them of centuries of knowledge on medicine and technology, leading most non-religious Caelune to leave Stratos. This religion consists of worshipping the Nullstar and the Nullchild, a representative of the Nullstar said to have appeared and "bring salvation" to the Caelune from a great agricultural famine from millennia before. The reason for the Caelune to have an interest in the mission depends on the individual, with some joining the mission for the reason of widening their understanding of the god they worship, while other Caelune wish to reconnect with other planets and hopefully bring technology and medicine back to the Caelune continents on Stratos.
