	Polaris got it's start on the planet of Singulon, when Cass crashed into a spaceport, suffering grievous injuries. Flat broke, Cass finished ~~the job~~ instead of going to ~~the doctor~~, eventually succumbing to her wounds and collapsing in an alley. Fortunately though, a passing “”doctor”” by the name of Amaranth took pity on her, and healed her wounds. Cass’ luck continued as the doctor helped her back to her ship, as an eccentric engineer had decided to repair it on a whim. Grateful to the strangers who had saved her and happy for the company, Cass invited the two Gelums to join her on her travels, founding Polaris Intergalactic Shipping Services.
