			It took centuries for Stratos to overcome the Hollow. It is still unclear how it came to be and why, though some anthropologists and biologists believe it was spread via particles of dead krill drifting across the stratosphere, launched upwards by fierce gusts of wind.

			A direct consequence of the famine was a revolutionary religious uprising in the Caelunian islands, the birth of modern day Soterism practiced by the Caelune government.
