Pronounced “sing-you-lon”, Singulon is a sphere rather than a true planet. Its outer regions are dominated by vast, blistering deserts inhabited by the Ferrans, whose metal bodies allow them to withstand the harsh wastelands. Moving inward, the environment becomes increasingly unstable, culminating in the domain of the Gelum, who reside near the sphere’s inner core where the black hole is harnessed for both energy and arcane study. Gravity, time, and space behave unpredictably across Singulon, making it both dangerous and invaluable. For many, it is a place of pilgrimage, a world where the rules of reality can be studied, and for the arcane to be mastered. Many great mages make the journey to hone their skills.

Geography and Environment

Singulon is largely dominated by deserts and rocky plains, with very little in the way of true vegetation. Temperatures are scorching during the day and plummet at night.

Gravitational anomalies worsen the closer one gets to the center, where the black hole is held, even featuring floating structures and islands like its neighboring sphere Stratos.

Stellar Information

Singulon is located in the Unmoored star system, and resides within the Unmoored energy field.

Singulon only has one moon, which appears to be a collection of shards held together by gravity rather than a fully complete spheroid. It does not orbit cleanly after it was broken to pieces by a previous gravitational event, and sometimes intersects with the atmosphere before being pulled outwards again. The result is violent storms on the surface of Singulon.

Singulon has one ring, a massive field of debris and matter that orbits it like an asteroid belt.

Notable Historical Events

Singulon is the only known location where a black hole has been manufactured and maintained. It is for this reason that many make the journey to visit this sphere for magical research.
