"Leave? Why would you want to leave paradise?" — confused Sylthae

Pronounced “el-in-drah”, Elyndra, also called the Garden Sphere, is a sphere of overwhelming life and beauty, where dense forests stretch endlessly beneath layered canopies of green and gold. Light filters through in shifting patterns, illuminating bioluminescent flora and ancient, rune-marked trees. The environment feels curated, almost intentional, as though designed to sustain and captivate in equal measure. Wide, sunlit glades break the monotony of the forest, offering moments of openness in an otherwise enclosed world. To many, Elyndra is paradise: a place where life flourishes without bounds. On this, both the Sylthae and the Nythera agree. Elyndra is a sphere of magic and fantasy, with some of the most potent yet chaotic branches of magic being practiced by its native inhabitants. Yet, beneath the beauty lies a subtle unease. The idea of leaving is often dismissed or discouraged, and those who question this are few and far between. Whether Elyndra is truly the Elysium it is named for or something more insidious remains an open question, one that few who live there or visit are willing to ask.

Geography and Environment

Elyndra is fantastical and packed with colorful, strongly-perfumed vegetation. Glowing fungi, carnivorous plants, and endless flowers are commonplace. Toxic plants and animals are frequent. Although inherently mysterious and slow to trust outsiders, Elyndra makes a popular tourist destination for those who gain access to it. Elyndra earns the nickname "The Garden Sphere" due to its nature as a sprawling, mythical garden filled with colorful wonders that masks hidden dangers.

Stellar Information

Elyndra is located in the Arcadia star system, and resides within the Arcadia energy field.

Elyndra has a whopping five moons. Mages on Elyndra tend to use the positions and phases of these moons as anchoring points for rituals. These five moons orbit regularly and are locked in a pattern that produces stable, predictable weather cycles. This stability is part of what allows Elyndra to sustain such extreme density of life without collapse.

Elyndra has no rings currently. In the past, rings have appeared temporarily, but were always ripped apart by the Great Empty.

Notable Historical Events

Following the Final Sunset on Chitara, survivors of a now-extinct species on Chitara fled to the stars, eventually finding and taking residence on Elyndra. These survivors would later become the Nythera.
