Euna initially said she would consider it. She asked for time to deliberate. When the new CEO was announced, she took the offer. Anything to protect themselves. As long as she could get the connections to acquire documentation to save themselves, she could bare it all. Even if she came to see the worst of everyone, she would still do it all the same. So she worked, a perfectionist to meet her CEO’s expectations. With that cheery demeanor of hers, it was easy to gather information internally. Everyone knew her, so she could always find something back to anyone in the company, rooting out corruption as they saw fit. The work climbed all the more, eventually taking on tasks to infiltrate other companies. | Euna initially said she would consider it. She asked for time to deliberate. Five years passed since she was torn away from Ray. Everything she worked for was all for naught. She could protect herself, but she couldn’t even visit her brother. She couldn’t even speak about him honestly, proudly, always hiding him out of sight. He was a hybrid, her brother, and her weakness. She could not let his final act go to waste. So even further apart, she worked. Even if she hated those around her, she worked. She became more ruthless, more cutthroat as a spy. She hated it all so much, knowing just how useless of a life this was if she failed being a sister all the same. | Five years passed since she was torn away from Ray. History
Early Life
Euna was the firstborn, Lepteran daughter of Adonis and his first wife, Berenica. She passed away in Euna’s infancy, and Ray was the hybrid son of Adonis and his second wife, a Carcid named Aglaea. They lived in a cold and desolate sphere, a small one named ROI-24. It was humble, living in a small corner of the world. Despite the circumstances, they were a happy family, albeit it had some hardship in her little brother being a hybrid and all the struggles that came with it. It was okay for a little while. It was, until they were forced to leave their home.
Euna could not recall much of that time in her life, about 8 years old. She could only recall faint glimmers of the last she ever saw her family on ROI-24. She held her dad close, teary eyed and grasping pathetically like it was all she had left to hold onto. It was, but she had to be strong. She remembered how those clawed hands held softly to the girl’s shoulders before the gate. The ship’s departure was soon; they couldn’t go with her, for there was only space for these small stowaways. The Carcid looked to the child fondly, asking her one small wish:
“Go. Take care of your brother and find happiness out there.”
With a gentle “I love you,” she pushed Ray’s smaller hand into hers. Adonis had left them sooner. Only Aglaea had the chance to see them off, lightly touching the girl’s back to press forward. The girl was inconsolable, but she couldn’t show that face—not to mom, nor to Ray. So she smiled, brightly, however shaky it was as her hands trembled, too. Euna pulled Ray into the cargo hull, and the door shut behind them.
The ride was long. It was dim and she hardly had any answers to her brother. He kept asking where mom and dad were. She could not muster the truth, hardly understanding it herself. All she could say was, “They’re very busy. They’ll be away for a long while… I hope they join us soon,” but that day never arrived. She got through Chitara’s immigration system. She certainly fumbled her way in. The only reason she scraped by was because they were children, more forgiving to those with nowhere to go.
So the pair were put to an orphanage, eventually adopted by a Lepteran pair; their new father was Talos Geiger, and their mother was Dolores Geiger. They moved to a more distant branch of the City nicknamed Berebey. It was colder, similar to home on ROI-24. It was like a small, village-like place. It was… nice.
“That poor child.”
”Poor Ray, his condition doesn’t look good.”
“A pitiful thing.”
“You are a kind soul for taking that one in alongside the girl.”
It was nice living with them. Ray was happy, so that was all that mattered. Euna never clicked with them, though. She never made that known. No one really needs to care about that if Ray was happy, but with enough time she… really couldn’t stand them. Not at all.
Corporate Life
She moved out when she was an adult, going into corporate with Oakworm Banking. She got a job in logistics, working in supply chain and getting promoted to be a manager. Ray moved out to the heart of the City a bit after, working as a tour guide. She was happier, able to work and breathe and travel all around for a variety of projects. The girl was proud of the job she had amidst a City so wretched. She could proudly stand by her brother and find that happiness her mom always dreamt for them. She wanted to believe that happiness could last.
It was naive, she knew that. The news was starting to shift; times were changing. The Raid was as vicious as ever, and there was a new CEO in C.U.B.E. There was talk in the office about the change in policies. They were going to be more aggressive in enforcement, more strict, more—
Ray was fired from his work.
She could see the writing on the wall. She had to do something, she had to do anything to keep themselves from getting on C.U.B.E.’s watch. If anything happened to Ray, she could not forgive herself. She had connections, she just needed better standing. All she had to do was… say yes.
. . .
“Please consider our offer, Ms. Caisa.”
A bit before Dickinson was instated as the new CEO, she was presented an offer to take on an additional job within the company. She would be something that, “helped to weed out the corruption within,” as her employer said. Sometimes those projects would extend outwards, gathering information to dull the claws of the other corporations; they were asking her to be a spy.
Heddoria Industries, Aumi Security, Sunon Inc: she had entered several under the guise of contract work or in faux collaboration for projects on ever distant planets. The more she worked, the less she came home. As long as it made her irreplaceable and gave her the favor to protect them, everything else came second.
“Did you read the news with the recent scandal?”
“That senior manager was ousted."
“He’s vanished ever since. You don’t think…?”
It was all secondary, however awful it felt some days.
. . .
Euna finished a long project from Singulon, proud of her work and the information she could provide. She could return back to Chitara, back to the home she shared with Ray. Upon unlocking her home, it was in disarray.
The moth’s heart dropped. She searched the place frantically, with Ray nowhere to be found. She searched and searched, only to see an envelope upon the table. She opened it, and there laid papers. They were documents.
Euna Caisa… Citizen of Chitara.
Any words, any tears, all ceased and died within her at that moment. She knew what happened. C.U.B.E. They took him. They took him away to prison to some place she could never reach. That boy saved her, and she couldn’t even say goodbye. Couldn’t even thank him.
She missed him. That stupid kid.
Locus Astra
Five years passed since she was torn away from Ray. Everything she worked for was all for naught. She could protect herself, but she couldn’t even visit her brother. She couldn’t even speak about him honestly, proudly, always hiding him out of sight. He was a hybrid, her brother, and her weakness. She could not let his final act go to waste. So even further apart, she worked. Even if she hated those around her, she worked. She became more ruthless, more cutthroat as a spy. She hated it all so much, knowing just how useless of a life this was if she failed being a sister all the same.
Then she was given a unique job: Rockston Mining and Energy.
They were buddy-buddy with C.U.B.E. It would bring her no greater joy than to knock those companies down a peg. So she spied on them. Though, there was one small thing that made things rather difficult. Both Oakworm Banking and Rockston Mining assigned her to a new project. She had to set up supply chains in Locus Astra, the sphere that caught everyone’s eye. Even to her surprise, she was assigned mayor of a settlement known as The Anchor.
Well.
Not like she was one to back down from a challenge. With little left to keep her in Chitara, she accepted this newest job, and off she went.
Current Events
Euna has been assigned as mayor of The Anchor, the primary settlement of the crew. While many dispersed into their own homes, The Anchor has remained one of the main hubs for all sorts of goods and services. Euna has been busy renovating and expanding the place: adding storehouses, Create services, terraforming farmland, and all sorts of projects to make life livable here.

Relationships
Delta?: While she may hide it, she recognizes Delta as her brother that she had lost years ago. She is deeply concerned for him and his safety, but she is happy to have him back all the same.
Mercutio: He's a acquaintance that she met on a prior job in Singulon. Knowing a little more than what Euna would like, she is both impressed and somewhat daunted by them, often acting as if she is irritated by her presence. However, she recognizes her as an invaluable assistant to The Anchor, able to converse more casually without having to act all formal as the mayor. She would be a fool to drive him away.
