Appearance
Lerinov stood at 6'0" tall and had dark blue eyes. They were a caramel brown Canari with a darker brown saddle pattern with lighter patches of fur going towards the chest, ears, and paws. They had a long fluffy tail and droopy ears.
He wore a hand-tailored lab coat adorned with orange and green frills, a green undershirt and dark brown pants adorned with similar orange and green frills. He did not wear shoes.
Most notably, he wore a green, orange, and white hand-carved mask that covered the upper portion of the face, from the forehead to the top half of the muzzle. The eye areas of the mask gave a sharp, feathered look to the eyes. Small ears were affixed to the sides of the mask. At the crest of the mask was a brilliant green gemstone and an accenting green feather.
History
Early Life
Lerinov led a happy home life on Virilune with the support of their mother, father and sibling Guin. Their years as a pup were full of love, laughter and curiosity, spearheaded by Guin’s involvement and support. Lerinov was chosen from a young age by their village’s Druid to be trained as a Druid. While Lerinov enjoyed and learned a lot from their lessons, they craved more knowledge which led them to go to The Singulon Academy for Prestigious Boys and Girls to follow in the pawprints of their sibling.
Growing up, Lerinov enjoyed cooking dishes with their mother and helping their father tend to nature and the crop fields. Lerinov has kept these hobbies for their whole life, often finding comfort in them.
The Singulon Academy for Prestigious Boys and Girls
When Lerinov was old enough, he left Virilune to pursue further education on magic and culture. While at the academy they met their Bestest Bestest Friend Bravo, and their best friends Xeroc, Laythe, and Iridi.
Lerinov and Bravo became fast friends and research partners in the pursuit of a shared goal. Due to,,, some things,,, Bravo is no longer with us.
Lerinov got into a lot of wacky hijinks together with Xeroc, Iridi, and Laythe while they devoured all the information that the Academy could teach them, the four of them being known as genius’ in their fields with a hearty trouble-making streak. Their hijinks lead to each of them getting kicked out of the Academy, though they stay in touch via letters and messages while they’re apart.
Lerinov will dodge the question if asked why they were kicked out of the Academy.
“Please, will you dance with me one last time?” – Lerinov to their Bestest Bestest Friend
Traveling after Expulsion
“In our time of need, the Prosperous Famine brought us food so we don't starve and crops so we survive.” – Rumors from a passerby
For eight years, Lerinov travels in their small personal space ship across many different spheres and planets. Lerinov learns about the spirituality, culture, and medical knowledge that each species holds. As Lerinov travels; they heal the sick, perform funerary rites for the deceased, and continue their personal research in their free time. When Lerinov leaves a place they’ve visited, they often plant beautiful flowers and crops to bring a moment of joy to those they’ve met.
In these years, Lerinov’s memory and thoughts are often scattered, often forgetting and remembering details. This issue led to Lerinov writing journals and notes frequently to ensure they don’t forget anything.
Within these years, Lerinov meets many people and forms friendships and relationships across spheres. While Lerinov attempts to remain mostly unknown, their unusual and vibrant mask has led to rumors and whispers. Most refer to Lerniov as The Prosperous Famine, in reference to how Lerinov would plant and grow crops for people after putting their deceased to rest, bringing prosperity and food to those in dire or somber situations.

INTERVIEWER: Welcome in, would you mind telling me about yourself? I’ve heard good things from the people you’ve helped.
LERINOV: “Well, I would consider myself kind person, though I may be biased of course. Those I have helped, as you’ve said, they are always very thankful. It is difficult thing, to be one to bury someone’s loved ones, one must have certain tact. Yknow? I do best to provide comfort in this time. I like to grow beautiful flowers or fruits for them before I leave, is moment of sweetness in difficult times.”
INTERVIEWER: So what’s your goal? I’ve heard you’ve been traveling for a while, what’re you looking for?
LERINOV: “Besides my general pursuit of knowledge, my greatest dream, my goal, is to prove my theory of the Soul. The idea that the Soul can be adapted, harnessed, filtered, whatever you want to call it. That those we lost are not truly gone. Of course this theory does not come without cost, one must keep in mind Sor’vaktal of course.”
INTERVIEWER: How’d you create this theory? How do you keep going in spite of any setbacks you may have had?
LERINOV: “Well, I owe it to myself, and a very very good friend of mine to continue research that we started together long time ago.”

Guinevere
INTERVIEWER: Your sibling, Guin, [ACCESS DENIED]. Please, tell me about them?
LERINOV: “I,,, I hold them very dear to my heart,, those we’ve rarely been in the same room. Guin guided my path to knowledge and curiosity, Guin encouraged and supported me always, [ACCESS DENIED]. Guin was always busy of course, yes, with the Wayfarer’s Guild, but we always tried to make time to write to each other and do keeping of tabs. [ACCESS DENIED]. ”
Bravo
INTERVIEWER: You went to the Singulon Academy in your youth, correct? What was that like? Especially with the idea of living up to Guin’s reputation?
LERINOV: “Oh? Oh! Yes,,, living up to Guin’s reputation,,,, from the Wayfarer’s. It made forming of connections difficult at times. I had few people I could call close during those years. But one of them was Bravo. We were something we liked to joke, Bestest Bestest Friends. Together we conducted research and did formulation of my topic of study. They are sadly no longer with us, I pray always that they have returned to Sor’vaktal."
The Four Perils of Fortuna - Xeroc, Iridi, Laythe, Lucky
INTERVIEWER: And of course, the reason for our interview today! Your work alongside the other heads of the Fortuna Family. Please, tell me about your relationship to them?
LERINOV: “Well, remember what I said in regards to my time at the Academy? I met Xeroc, Iridi, and Laythe there as well. We grew close to each other when they joined the Gardening Club that I was the president of at the time. Truly they have been very impactful people in my life. I care for them greatly. After leaving of the Academy, we did keeping in touch for many years. After a time, Laythe asked us to come help with something of importance. Together we built Lucky, a greatly valued asset to our work. And yknow, things happen and such and forth, and we ended up taking over the Fortuna Family. We work diligently to ensure the people have higher quality than they did with those that were in charge.”
The Goons - The Changeling, Ray
INTERVIEWER: And even with your diligent work on the Council, I’ve been told you are fond of taking business trips. I’ve gotten reports of some people that work with you, but they aren’t part of the Fortuna Family, is that correct?
LERINOV: "Oh! Yes yes! They’ve lovingly taken to calling themselves my Goons, it is quite funny. It is of employment of helping me in my travels. I met one of them a few years before the Council ever got together, and the other, Ray, provided me with bodyguarding while I was on Chitara for a time. I care for those that work for me, I do ensuring of proper payment and rest. I provide meals and comfortable housing if necessary. With the Council’s work, I would not ask of them to divert resource into my trips, so I employ my own assistance."
