"Sav, promise me you fight for the truth...for everyone and everything, okay?" - Sarah Culling

Savanah is a 77 year old Felari lawyer. Studying at the Samtulana Institute originally studying into biochemical studies, she decided to change into law and go to the SPARK University after acting as a pseudo lawyer. Since she graduated, Savanah worked at a practice for all of Virilune, settling in Vanasara. After a while, she decided to open her own practice but for multiple spheres; fulfilling a promise to a friend of "Justice for All". Savanah's multi-sphere practice allowed her to travel, amongst spheres frequently. She would eventually become recognized by the High Stellar Council, in the precaution of the Pathfinding initiative requiring someone knowledgeable in the law. Savanah would eventually travel from Virilune to the Olive, deciding to get comfortable.

Appearance

Savanah is a tall woman, with an orange-hue fur and blue hair that is wrapped into a long ponytail. Savanah commonly wears her dark purple suit and ash grey pants.

History

Past

Savanah was born and raised on Virilune by two rich parents, to which she decided she would need to be humbled and prepared to properly thrive in the world. Savanah distanced herself and worked for herself, making sure she understood the value of money and trying hard. Savanah never had a true calling, working odd jobs that she feared would be the entirety of her life. Savanah would eventually enroll into Samtulana Institute to study into biochemistry, just like her parents had, taking about three months worth of classes. During the time of her study, Savanah would get close with another felari named Sarah. The two were great friends, Sarah herself was studying elsewhere for investigations and law.

One night, Sarah was accused of stealing resources and illegally distributing them across spheres. Savanah acted as Sarah's attorney, on the adrenaline and anger of the unfair accusation. With enough spirit, utilizing what Sarah had taught her about investigations, and the hope of justice; Savanah proved Sarah's innocence and found the true culprit. However, as the two celebrated a gunshot rang out. The convicted party had fired, aiming for Savanah and instead striking Sarah in the spine. Savanah gripped onto Sarah as she bled out, hearing her final words and deciding this would be the moment she found her calling.

Savanah would drop out of Samtulana and enroll into SPARK, directly following where Sarah was headed. After studying at SPARK, she would join a Vanasara based practice and work as a defense attorney. After a couple of years, Savanah decided to start her own law firm and represent multiple spheres and species.

Her firm, Crest & Culling co., would go on to be the default defense attorney for many; as she was there to represent everyone and defend them no matter the cost. She fights for the truth firstly, uncovering the true details of the situation and utilizing that to defend her client.

With the success of her firm, the HSC contacted her with a proposition. The Pathfinding Initiative was to go to Locus Astra, a second official journey, and they would most likely need someone well versed in the law. Savanah nodded and went on standby with the HSC, hopefully getting a paid vacation for once. Because why would the carefully picked Pathfinders EVER need a lawyer?

Surely these rational people can read the law, not break it, and settle everything between them super easily.

Locus Astra

Savanah landed on Locus Astra shortly after Indiga Hess passed away. She quickly met up with Pathfinders to talk and understand the sphere a little better. Eventually Savanah would sit at the tavern, talking to Sonya, Lerinov, Iridi, Nova, Changeling, and Maria. During this time, Iridi consistently asked Savanah to 'make murder legal for me if the Nullstar tells me to.' Savanah eventually went to bed at the inn nearby, realizing why Maya drinks so much.

Afterwards, Savanah went back on to the Olive to gather Hess' will and work on amendments.

Personality

Savanah is a kind hearted woman at first, consistently being supportive and almost motherly (in the way of, "Awh honey are you okay?") to those she likes. Savanah tries to be nice, but a the sign of incompetency she grows snappy and motherly (in the way of, "clean your room").

Savanah's the type of person to help you with your homework the night before it's due and be frustrated it wasn't done sooner, scold you for not doing it, and help you until you fall asleep where she finishes it for you.

Maya Sherazi

"Dear lord I need a drink, I can see why Maya is basically dead almost every night."

Savanah met Maya while the two studied at SPARK university. The two shared brief interactions that mostly boiled down to the two looking at each other and understanding that both were struggling with their own work. Savanah has deep respect towards Maya, watching her rise through the ranks of society so wondrously. After Savanah graduated, she never truly spoke with Maya afterwards; par for condolences after the Wayfarer Incident.

When Savanah arrived on the Olive, she recognized Maya and spoke with her. It felt like college again, looking at how stressed out the poor woman was. Savanah considers her a good and reliable friend.

The Changeling

"It is not in the slightest. I am unsure of how and why you went that way"

Savanah has a slight fondness for The Changeling, due to the fact that their overall demeanor reminds her of an old colleague. She finds them humorous and an overall breath of fresh air, someone she would like to be around more frequently.

Euna Caisa

"Pleased to meet you, Mayor Euna."

Savanah enjoys being around Euna, she can see how much they're struggling mentally with everyone and everything. Savanah has been planning on getting some alcohol for the poor girl.

Mercutio Hgarbera

"You kept children...in your basement?!"

Savanah spoke with Mercutio for a while about Locus Astra, liking his overall demeanor and ability to quickly answer questions.

While discussing Checkers and Blitz, Delta brought up the fact that Mercutio detained them in his basement. Savanah took off her glasses, pinched her nose bridge, and sighed. She has a sour taste in her mouth when she thinks about them. While she was lying down, Savanah shuddered realizing he kind of reminds her of her ex-husband.
