"PISS? NOOOOOOOOO ITS NOT AN ACRONYM" — Cass
Polaris Interstellar Shipping Services is a small courier company that skirts the edge of legality. On paper they are a fully functional and up to code organization but their eccentric founder combined with their frequent money troubles lead to them often taking jobs from shadier clients.

- Cass
- The Captain, and the founder of Polaris. After a very bad series of events, she's been on a lucky streak that has carried her across the stars and into one hell of a crew.
- Amaranth
- The Medic. They’re eager to help their new friends in any way they can. Exploring new places is super exciting! They’re just happy to be here.
- Enmo
- The Engineer. They do maintenance on the ship and makes sure Cass doesn't hurt it anymore. After chilling out, they go around repairing any machine in need.
- Mara
- The Tweaker. She hitched a ride in the vents and decided she would help out her new friends. As an expert magician she helps the team in all things mystical.
History
Polaris got it's start on the planet of Singulon, when Cass crashed into a spaceport, suffering grievous injuries. Flat broke, Cass finished the job instead of going to the doctor, eventually succumbing to her wounds and collapsing in an alley. Fortunately though, a passing “”doctor”” by the name of Amaranth took pity on her, and healed her wounds. Cass’ luck continued as the doctor helped her back to her ship, as an eccentric engineer had decided to repair it on a whim. Grateful to the strangers who had saved her and happy for the company, Cass invited the two Gelums to join her on her travels, founding Polaris Intergalactic Shipping Services.
A month later, the crew would take a shipment of machine parts to a Nytheran on Elyndra, only to find the recipient, Mara, collapsed on the floor, a pile of membranes and shed metal. Amaranth patched her up, and the crew turned around to repair the machine parts, no longer needed. To their horror though, Mara had taken a liking to the group, and had stowed away in the vents. Over the month it took to find where she was hiding, the group grew fond of Mara, and officially made her a part of the crew.
