"Greeting greeting! Pathfinder want be new friend, question?" — "Visor"

"Visor", short for "Supervisor", was named by the Pathfinders upon their first appearances near the Anchor. They are Shay's supervisor (or boss), but they don't appear to be very interested in that job...

Appearance

Visor wears a long, hooded, dark teal cloak with oversized sleeves that go over their hands. Their face and head are not visible, the cloak hiding their face entirely, no matter if a light is shined into the cloak's hood or not. Visor has a webbed tail and a set of antennae that are reminiscent of the horns of a Warden.

Although not visible, Visor has confirmed they do not have eyes, and are thus blind. They 'see' with sound, using their antennae.

Visor has paws. Not that anyone can see that, their sleeves drape over their paws.

Visor is short in stature, being small enough and light enough to be picked up by most Pathfinders.

History

"Mmm... been here long time. Long long time. Seen many. Seen many friend, many friend... many foe. But have many friend now! Happy happy. Hm? Not answer to question? Mmm... apology apology! More is secret!"

Personality

Despite being someone of clear import to the sculk organization, Visor is inherently childlike and quite innocent. They adore learning about new things, and can be very talkative and very chatty when given the chance.

Visor has a particular affinity for worms and caterpillars, and will often ask for them as gifts. When asked why they like them, they simply say that worms are 'small, quiet, and wiggly, like me!'

Visor dislikes loud noises and noisy people, and can be surprisingly snarky at times, especially when they disagree with someone about something or other.

Visor sees most actions as games, and their main objective in life is to play, even if such 'games' are far more violent than they seem to understand.

Visor has some difficulty speaking and understanding complicated words, but picks up on these things fast when taught. They tend to punctuate sentences with the word 'question' or 'statement', and refer to people with prefixes like 'Pathfinder' or 'friend'. They also tend to repeat words several times, seemingly for emphasis or because it just feels nice to say.

Trivia

• Visor, like most little kids, explores most unfamiliar things in the world by shoving them directly in their mouth. They need to stop doing this. Shay has had to desperately take things out of their paws before they can stuff hazardous materials into their mouth.
• Visor likes soft and cozy places. The inn's beds, the cushions in the town hall, a soft shrub, etc etc.
• They shed sculk ambiently and unintentionally. Can't help it. This shedding gets worse when under extreme stress.
• Worms and sculk tend to be left wherever they spend a lot of time. They also leave worms for people they like, as a little gift, since they like worms so much.
• Their tail wags when they're happy.
